ANDROS BEACHES

Crystal waters and beautiful natural landscapes with rich vegetation is the combination of Andros beaches. Most of the beaches are well organized.

Ayios Petros is an organized sand beach. Psili Ammos is near Ayios Petros; well organized sand beach. Near Gavrio you can swim in Liopesi. Ayios Kyprianos is a pebble beach at the area of Kypri. In Batsi you will find Lykeio and Kolona. At the settlement of Stivari you can swim in a shingle beach. In Aprovarou there are two beaches; Anerousa a well organized beach and Ayia Marina with pebbles. Ayia Eleousa is a pebble beach at Palaiopolis. You can find the beautiful sandy beaches of Ateni at Katakoilo, Vori in Arni and Lefka near Fellos. In the area of Makrotantalo are located the beaches of Selki, Kaminaki, Vlychada, Mikri Peza and Megali Peza.  In Vitali you can swim in a sand beach.

Also, tis Grias to Pidima, at Korthi,  Mylos at Ormos and Gides in the area of Gides. You can find small beaches at Vintzi, Ayia Ekaterini, Bouro, and Melissa featuring sea caves. In Syneti beach you can see stalactites.

Ai Yianni’s beach at Kremmydes is accessible only by boat. Plaka is located on the island’s west coast.

Neiborio and Paraporti, are located near Andros Town (Chora) and can be reached on foot.

Yialia and Piso Yialia are located on the road to Stenies. Ahla beach at the mouth of the Ahla River and Halkolimionas on the island’s west coast, also Steno at Steno settlement.
